to celebrate a friend's birthday

Celebrating my friends is always easy and it feels especially important as the world crumbles around us. So while I try not to stress eat thinking about what the price of a nicely made shoe is going to cost or all the ways this administration is making everyone’s lives harder and less safe I’ll focus instead on happy things it’s the best thing I can do for both my mental state and my waistline. There is nothing happier to me than celebrating a friend’s birthday so this is what I’m wearing.

What’s a celebration without some drama? Mine comes by way of a full-length duster coat that kisses the ground when I walk, a coat such as this gives a simple outfit like jeans and a silk top some stature that’s worthy of a celebratory night. For a similar vibe look here.
